The Ruby Jack Trail is an abandonded railroad that runs from Carthage, MO to the Kansas State line. The trail will go through the towns of Oronogo and Carl Junction. The Carthage trail head is located at the intersection of Old Highway 96 and Oak Street.
Please note this trail is NOT FINISHED. The Joplin Trails Coalition is currently working to raise funds to complete the trail. Please support the efforts to complete this trail by participating in the Maple Leaf Bike Ride on October 13, 2007.
