The Frisco Greenway Trail is an approximately 3.5 mile hiking and biking trail that connects North Street in Joplin to Highway 171 in Webb City. The trail surface is gravel firmly packed on top of an old railroad bed.
Parking is available in Joplin on St Louis Street near Zora Street and in Webb City at the Freeman Clinic on Highway 171.
Group bike rides every Saturday (7:00am), Tuesday and Thursday (6:30pm). Meet at the Webb City Freeman Clinic parking lot for about 10 miles of riding fun!
Note: Due to street construction in Webb City, the section of the Frisco Greenway Trail between Mt Hope Road and 14th Street will be closed until ???
A detour route has been made available by Webb City. The detour goes east on Mt Hope Road to the Mount Hope Cemetary. Cross the drainage ditch to get into the west end of the cemetary and follow the western-most cemetary roads to 17th Street. From there go north on Ellis Road to 14th Street. Go West on 14th street back to the trail. A map of the detour is available below - click on it for a full size map.
