JTC Announces New Maple Leaf Bike Ride Web Site
The Joplin Trails Coalition has announced a new website for their annual Maple Leaf Bike Ride. Visit www.carthagemapleleafride.com to learn all about the ride and how it will benefit the Ruby Jack Trail.

The JTC has also set the date for the 2008 Maple Leaf Bike Ride. The ride will take place on October 11, 2008 at Kellogg Lake Pavillion in Carthage, MO. 100% of all funds raised will be used by the Joplin Trails Coalition to develop, maintain, and enhance the Ruby Jack and Frisco Greenway Trails.

The Maple Leaf Bike Ride web site is not the only new thing the Joplin Trails Coalition has going online. Their main website has been completely redesigned and looks fabulous. Visit their new website at www.joplintrailscoalition.org.

Seneca's Fall Into The Ozarks Ride
The Seneca Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Fall Into The Ozarks bike ride November 17th. Although there was a small turnout, only 4 riders took the challenge, fun was had by all who participated. Click on the image below for a full size picture.

Maple Leaf Bike Ride - A Huge Success!
The Joplin Trails Coalition Maple Leaf Bike Ride that was held on October 13, 2007 was a success! 166 riders particpated in the event, raising funds for the 1st phase of the Ruby Jack Trail. The weather was superb and a great time was had by all. Hope everyone comes back and rides again next year!

Frisco Greenway Trail Construction Detour (Webb City)
Due to street construction in Webb City, the section of the Frisco Greenway Trail between Mt Hope Road and 14th Street will be closed until ???.
A detour route has been made available by Webb City. The detour goes east on Mt Hope Road to the Mount Hope Cemetary. Cross the drainage ditch to get into the west end of the cemetary and follow the western-most cemetary roads to 17th Street. From there go north on Ellis Road to 14th Street. Go West on 14th street back to the trail. A map of the detour is available here.
